Security Officers Began Training At Police Training College

On February 4, 2020, twenty-one (21) security officers from various organizations including the University of The Bahamas, Central Bank of The Bahamas, National Sports Authority and the Ministry of Works began the Security Officers Training Course at the Police College.


National Commandant Dr. Chaswell Hanna opined that security officers serve as a 'force-multiplier' and a critical partner in public safety.

During the course, they will strengthen their skills in a variety areas including report writing, statement taking, handcuffing procedures, and justifiable force & harm.
